One night, many many nights ago, David had a prophetic dream.
In it, a phone number called out to him. The next day, he messaged this number and met the love of his life, Ines, who fell in love instantly with David and said he was the smartest person she had ever met.
From such a comment, it became clear to David’s great mind instantly that Ines too was very smart - for only the intelligent recognise their own; and it was at that moment that David realised he had met his equal.
Their first date occurred at the romantic and esteemed venue of Aspera Benfleet and culminated in a lengthy and incredibly hot walk up to Hadleigh Castle, during which David partially died of dehydration and had blood pooling in his shoes from aggressive blisters.
However, as it turns out, that’s exactly the recipe for a blossoming romance, as they agreed to see each other again. Precisely ten minutes into their second date, David accidentally made a very awkward faux pas in public, and that further allowed the romance to blossom between the pair.

Several months later, David took Ines on a romantic weekend to a French chateau and popped the question.
Ines said yes.
And nobody in France understood a word they said the entire time because Emmanuel Macron absolutely butchered the French education system.
And now here we are.
